And interesting. Now I understand why my shadow was kinda leaning at noon the other day. 
A question for you. Around here (midwest USA) our shortest morning occurs around January 6, not December 21. Does that vary by location? (Afternoons do start getting longer before the solstice, though, as the article stated.)
