The Fun Run, Rejection Slips and the Think Tank are all sort of under the wing of the Post. The difference is that they are not official h2g2 write ups, but done by us lowly researchers
There will be more to come, one notable one is GuideDog, a GuideML editor that's being writen by one of us researchers. There is a write up about it in this weeks edition of the Post, and it is well worth checking out
The Think Tank didn't quite make it into this edition of the Post, but it is working. Heck it's already helped one person.
On a side note, the P in front of entry numbers is currently being phased out, it might be worth trying to get into the habit of using A instead, I believe that the number itself doesn't change

I've always rather wondered what the difference betwixt those two (A&P -- no, not the grocery chain ) were anyway.

As far as I could tell, P was for Page (as in user page) and A was for Article (as in guide article).

That's what I originally thought, too.... hrm... but then I started seeing pages that had just been written using the A prefix. So I'm still not sure.

Yes, I was wondering about the A/P business myself - I copied the URLs from the front page of this week's Post, so I was assuming there was some special reason for using the P prefix there...

Does anyone else want to get together a group of researches to pull off something akin to the Fun Run, and give critiques to each other's works? I feel feedback is essential to writing a good finished product.

The Fun Run is an established means of doing this, for fun, while the Think Tank is seems to be just what you are after.
It's better for us all to work from one place together than to have many things to do the same thing.

Can I agree with your post about 'me too' posts?

Pastey Posted Dec 19, 1999
Am I allowed to agree, if I use a "Me as well" instead of a "Me too"?
Point of this posting, the Think Tank is now up and running.

Thanks for the thought Mouse. But Aussie beer???????
The top-selling NZ brands are Dominion Bitter and Steinlager.
One of our breweries, Lion, does own the Aussie XXXX brand you mention though

Looney: Erm.. I thought it was you expounding on the virtues of X ... Perhaps that was some -other- good-looking researcher.

Hi everyone
Ender Wiggin mentioned earlier about about getting another type Fun Run on the go - I can see the reasoning for this - I have been lax of late - the POST and my business, taking much of my time.
If Ender Wiggin would like to contact me - together, we will get the Fun Run up and running a full speed again. I have a little more time to do so as Pastey & Shazz have taken over the daily running of the POST. I have a lot of new ideas for the FUN RUN and could do with a bit of help. Any volunteers welcome.
