Hi everyone! SBE is back with a first entry for nearly 18 months! I'll be a bit rusty so be gentle!! I've been a fan of Home and Away for many years and intend this to be an introduction to the programme. Hope you like it.

I suppose I ought to say something constructive at this point.

All I can really think of is that the Entry seems to end a bit abruptly. I think I would change 'The Young And The Old' to a header, rather than subheader and then try to think of a way to round it off. Perhaps a section on some of the H&A actors who have gone onto bigger things, a la Neighbours?

One being Isla Fisher, who married Sasha Baren-Cohen (Ali G/Borat) and co-starred in a hollywood comedy-romance with Jason Biggs (American Pie) called Wedding Daze.

Some nitpicks:

It boasts a thriving surf life saving club --> life-saving

had dropped the ill fated soap --> ill-fated

by now, Melbourne based phenomenon --> Melbourne-based

"The Inspiration" - the bit about salt in the wound doesn't quite make sense - is it that Channel Seven wanted a successful soap but had dropped Neighbours in the early days?

Thanks for the nitpicks! Will attend to those. I think the entry does end a little abruptly so will see if I can round it off more smoothly. The young and old section could possibly be extended as suggested. Will get my thinking cap on and return later.
