And Beethoven. Particularly the 7th Symphony.

Oh yes, and Jen Lipsius, for being the best Lenny in the worst production of Crimes of the Heart ever. A director's (even an amateur director's) dream, a pleasure to work with and magical to watch perform. I'm really lucky to have gotten her in the cast.
On that note, I'm thankful for the night Molly (Chick) forgot to bring the candy with her on stage in the first scene. It's when there's a real screw up that the great actors seem to shine. I'm thankful I got to see the brilliant recovery, even if I was completely panicking at the time.
