I remember that - a with attitude... and a strange way of walking!
On the subject of memory lane.. does anyone remember The 3 little rabbits on Watch with Mother? They didn't seem to *do* much far as I remember, but they held mother absolutely entranced... well, she was utterly silent and moan free for that brief 15minutes, which is probably why I remember the programme!!!!

I had a friend who would put a couple of socks over their ears and imitate Spot - and that odd grrrruffff, grrrrufffff sound he made. It used to bring the pub to a standstill.
Flopsy, Mopsy and Cottontail

Good grief! I thought I'd *dreamed* them! Thankyou! Proof posidrive I didn't imagine everything as a kid.
Whay-Hay!! I am NOT going insane! (well, any more than is average for a lady of my midlesaged years!)
D'you remember Torchy the Battery Boy and Twizzle (2 separate programmes, on ITV< Sunday teatimes, I think) Shazz?
Being vertically challenged, I was heartbroken I couldn't turn into Twizzle when I wanted to!

And... considering the last 24 hours or so... I wish to Christ the man I thought I knew - the man who inspired that poem knew and understood what true kindness really entailed.
Still. Win a few, lose a few, eh?
It's all part of life's rich tapestry.
Trouble is, I thought I knew how to sew.
But he said the nicest things.
A shame he couldn't, he didn't know how to attain them.
