Added a nod to lip gloss in a footnote near the beginning of the article.

Hello
No mention of medicated lip salves which I'm quite partial to as they often contain menthol - but I agree that you do get a bit 'addicted' to them.
One of your ingredients, beeswax, is commonly used in furniture polish too. However, I've quite happily ingested beeswaxwith no ill effects in the form of comb honey. It's really rather nice.
Or am I just being strange?

Um... a lip salve is just a slightly creamier version of a lip balm/chapstick, usually contained in a little glass, screw-top container... or something along those lines, yes?
(I'll sneak something in...)

Well, yeah - I was thinking along the lines of Blistex ("to relieve & treat occasional cold sores and cracked & chapped lips"), you know, that stuff in the little metal tube. Yeah, it's much more liquid but again once you start using it, you have to keep using it .
I also note they now have something called "Lip Splash" with the approximate consistency of sunflower oil, applied via a metal rollerball.

Unfortunately it's true.
It has a really nasty vanilla taste. Beats me why anyone would want that on their lips.

I recall there was a strawberry-flavoured glass-bottled lip roll-on brought out by Avon Cosmetics, which didn't last long (in their catalogue, it wasn't a good seller)! If memory serves, there was a -flavoured one as well.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

Yay! I was worried I might have to start adding sections on Bizarrely Flavoured Lip Ungents Through the Ages.

Alas, this and Places to Sleep in Hearst, Ontario, Canada won't get me any closer to my goal of 50 solo entries...
Maybe there should be a special banner for people who have served the community by recycling X entries from the Flea Market?
Must find something else obscure and entertaining to write about.
