I *have* to have a doughnut!
Mrgrunt (With the Beard of Power!) Posted Feb 15, 2000
We're loosing him!
*George Clooney lookalike, realising what Joanna has done, resorts to desperate measures*
*He pulls out a walkman, puts on a dire straits tape, puts it on mrgrunt and cranks up the volume*
CLEAR!!!!!!
*Presses play*
*Mrgrunt lurches at the sound of 'Telegraph Road' being played at ear shattering volume*
I think he's coming round
*George clooney lookalike takes an IWA and leaves with the feeling of smug satisfaction of saving someones life using doughnuts*
*Mrgrunt wakes up*
Uh hi, where am I?
I *have* to have Beatles
Bluebottle Posted Feb 15, 2000
Morning Joanna - how are you and the doughnuts today?
I *have* to have Beatles
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 15, 2000
I and my donuts are fine, thanks for asking. I didn't get my work done though.... its self service at 12 but I should be back again at 1
I *DON'T* *have* to have Beatles
Mr Hazmandoo (also know as Seven-of-Up to the crew of the Esirpretne) Posted Feb 15, 2000
Beatles - PAH - As "Famous" as they are, they simply don't compare to the hard rockness (yeah - its a word) of Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, Queen, Def Leppard, etc. The ONLY time a guy like me can appriciate the Beatles is when you're either stoned or drunk - just in the same way the Beatles were!
*To prove his point he goes over to the jukebox and puts on "Photograph" by Def Leppard*
There - listen to the guitar wizadry of Phil Collen and weep...
(sorry to be so harsh Bluebottle but I'm under a lot of stress *sniffles*)
Could I please get the donut of Bluebottles choice as a peace offering?
I *DON'T* *have* to have Beatles
Demon Drawer Posted Feb 15, 2000
I see the boss is out.
*Sqirts Victoria Plum Jam into Doughnut pastry and places in microwave*
I *DON'T* *have* to have Beatles
Bluebottle Posted Feb 15, 2000
One thing is, do we measure groups in terms of Hard Rockness, or flexibility? The Beatles played music of a wide range of types, yet most bands just play exactly the same song over and over again. If you listen to Wings, you'll hear that all the songs on their albums are completely unique in style, whilst everything boybands play is the same old romantic rubbish.

Demon Drawer Posted Feb 15, 2000
*Removes doughnut from microwave having forgotten about to complete article on Charles Schulz*
Still hot.
*But Bon Jovi - Always on the Jukebox*
I *wish* you'd all stop arguing, otherwise bad things may very well happen....
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 15, 2000

*Walks over to jukebox and replaces all ruined LPs which were smashed earlier with INDESTRUCTIBLE*
Well bluebottle, if you say that the beatles played a large range of music then why did you smash all the other LPs?
Surely you are open to all musical styles?
Besides, why be jack of all trades when you can be excellent in one field?
*starts making a home made-doughnut consisting of bacon, egg, sausage, beans, and fried bread*
Lets just all have a doughnut to calm oursleves down hmm?
Mmmmmm Donuts
Ormondroyd Posted Feb 15, 2000
I'd love a donut, Joanna. Please can I have a strawberry jam donut?
I *wish* you'd all stop arguing, otherwise bad things may very well happen
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 15, 2000
Donut anyone???
Doughnut Heaven
Zak T Duck Posted Feb 15, 2000
I'm having a bad day.
What's the best doughnut to eat when you want to brutally murder an entire department of lecturers? They've messed up my results so I won't get any marks for an entire semesters work.
Mmmmmm Donuts
Ormondroyd Posted Feb 15, 2000
I'm doing fine, Joanna. (Takes bite from donut)
Yum! I'm doing even better now!
BTW, I've just added a link to your page to the "Some friendly life-forms" section on my page. I also added BluesSlider and Dancing Ermine, because I thought it was long overdue that I included my regular drinking buddies from the Forum & Firkin!
Hope that's OK with you.
Mmmmmm Donuts
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 15, 2000
*big grinny grin*
Thats fine with me
The more links the better, as far as I'm concerned
Mind if I link to you to?
Mmmmmm Donuts
Ormondroyd Posted Feb 15, 2000
Mind? The thought makes me so happy that I think I'll have another donut to celebrate.
I've just been studying your very interesting donut menu, and Luxury Lime sounds delicious! Can I try one of those please?
Mmmmmm Donuts
J'au-æmne Posted Feb 15, 2000
My page in all its glory has been updated
*hands over a luxury lime*
Eat and Enjoy, Ormy
*has L2 herself as well*
