K. First up, The first paragraph. The Guide people are not amused by references to the vogons or suchlike. Humour is fine, as long as it settles into the artical.
Also, write the artical one of two ways - compleatly objectively, like a Study on the customers, or personally, as in your experiences with them. The first would be more likely to be accpted, but the second would be easier to write.
Let me know when you've wrote more.
