I've provided my family with the usual long list of computer games, books and CDs but since I'm moving into a new flat in December I expect to get a new kettle, iron, hoover or "something for the house" 
. Then again I've still got a job (my employer has just made 90 staff redundent, don't you love it when they do that to people just before Xmas) so it could be worse.
