House Hunting

Hi, there,
It is fascinating seeing my home city from the perspective of an American. There are some very nice houses where I live( in fact next door is up for sale!!) and in the suburb next door too, but if you are set on Sutton Coldfield, you must know that they do not like being part of 'Brum' so tread delicately !
I shall look forward to following your house hunting, and I do so agree that that men and women look at houses totally differently.

Have you looked around the Four Oaks/Mere Green vicinity, there used to be pretty good transport links, used to annoy the out of me as I lived in Roughley - 1 bus every Pancake Wednesday! The local shops were pretty good as well

Thank you! It's great to know that someone out there is reading. I don't want to ruin the story for you, but the original blogs have zoomed ahead. They are on www.lulu.com/gypsyteacher, but we haven't moved in anywhere yet.
We definitely want Sutton, and we are familiar with its 'Royal Town' status. To Americans, 500 years is pre-history.
Thanks for reading!
