I once had a coworker who would sit and make chains of staples, then try to beat the people sitting around him with it. A true tragedy for a noble office supply!

How about - now that Microsoft is breaking up - we get the paper clip Office Assistant to be our spokes-supply? No one can deny that he has been abused over the years and he could gaze out of the screen mournfully. Do you think that Sally Struthers is too busy to do our commercials? And would Gates sponsor us in order to salvage his public image? I think I may be on to something here...
