A Conversation for Imagery and Neil Gaiman

Just finished reading the book last week Gw7en. Loved it!
Have been following Gaiman's works since Sandman #1 and he has to be one of my favourite writers. Can't get enough I'm afraid.
Very true about his imagery as well. He also had an uncanny knack of choosing the best illustrator to compliment his written imagery. 'Radaman' (Sandman #50) springs to mind.
The only one I haven't got my hands on yet is 'Smoke and Mirrors'. After your write up, I shall have to find it!

It is well worth the time and effort! (Sorry it took me so long to respond. Things have been hectic!) Rumor has it, as well, that there will be another book of short stories coming out in the near future...
*waiting breathlessly*

Yup. I just read an article on it this morning. It's a new Sandman, but is done as a graphic novel rather than a comic - pictures and text alternating pages. I also just saw a graphic novel of Stardust this weekend while I was at a bookstore. He's still working on the script for Neverwhere with Miramax and Jim Henson Studios, but refuses to have anything to do with the Sandman movie currently trapped in pre-production hell. I think that next year's going to be an interesting year for Mr. Gaimen. Oh, *and* he's working on a new novel called American Gods that will hopefully be out sometime next summer. All I have to say is : Yippee! Hoody-hoo!

My my you're chock full of info aren't you?
Shall eagerly await all.
Do you buy SFX magazine? Had a great article on Gaiman a few issues ago.

Sadly, no. I don't get too many magazines. A friend of mine actually picked up a new one called, of all things, Wicked, which is where I got all the info above. I'll have to see if I can find any back issues of SFX, though...
Key: Complain about this post
