I like it too.
My moment of cognitive dissonance came on the second use of the word 'genious'. I was expecting to read more about music after seeing it the second time.

hiya,
I really like the way you've subverted the weather forecast clichés here,
I don't think i quite get all the references... or rather, if it weren't for a hint in the thread that this has summat to do with Sir Paul McC, I wouldn't have had a clue what the main theme was. Could just be me.
No bonus points for me - when ya' gonna let the CHHL cat outta the bag? And whilst you're at it, what is the significance of that date? First gig of the fledgling Beatles?
keep on truckin'

hi guys.
No no Spiff. Yon poem's about Buddy Holly. And the date is his death day (haappy death day to you). Anyway, glad you liked it. It's the only one I ever wrote with merit
Off to work now

Sir Paul liked it - what more is there to say .
I really like it, but I didn't get the Buddy Holly connection from the poem itself and liked it even more knowing what it was about.
CHHL haven't a clue.
