Unfortunately, I have. I spent a year in Houston. (Maybe the term "plaza" is specific to Houston.) I plan to mess with Texas as little as possible in the future, but will probably have to go back there many times. My wife is a Texan. She's also the only reason I was in Houston. Hope you don't miss my other way-unofficial guide entries entitled "Reasons to Avoid Texas." I'm too lazy to link, but you can find them by clicking on my name and scrolling to the bottom of that page. ...As for shopping, have you actually ever BEEN to The Galleria?
