A Conversation for The Best Beer Ever
Shiner Bock

I personally enjoy Shiner Bock which is brewed in a small brewery in Shiner, Texas USA. I believe it was started by a group of Bavarian brewers who immigrated to the US in the late 1800's. It has a dark smooth texture and just enough bite to make it worthwhile. Plus its not outrageously priced so it can be enjoyed all evening long, or all day, or all afternoon, or all night, or... Definitely my favorite right now.

I agree, Shiner is THE beer. The Honey Wheat is ok, Winter Ale a tad too bitter. The Bock is by far the stuff to drink. But... Shiners Summer Stock, makes the Shiner Bock taste almost normal.
Also, every year The Shiner Chamber of COmmerce throws the Shiner Bocktoberfest, which includes tons of food, Shiner beers, and the Best Texas Music acts around.
and they have a website, www.shiner.com , hows that for service?

Unfortunately living farther North the stores only carry Shiner Bock and Shiner Blonde. I have not had the honor of trying any of the others you mentioned. I first had Shiner Bock in Houston while visiting a friend and have been hooked ever since. Just FYI- Don't try to order it in Seattle. They look at you a little funny when you ask for a Texas beer there. Although they do have an absolutely insane number of Micro-brews at almost every bar. Red Hook seems to be incredibly popular up there. I actually found it a little dull on the taste, mostly drinkable but not at all impressive and the aftertaste could use some work.
