But the smell...

If this artificial meat tastes like the real thing, would it smell like it, too? Living in western Kansas in the U.S. I am surrounded by 200 miles in any direction by cattle ranchers. Its not hard for me to understand how cattle is responsible for one quarter of the world's greenhouse emissions. If artificial meat could just eliminate the smell of 20,000 cow farts, I think that alone would make it worth a Nobel Prize.
