yes, well, he is a busy man, I believe, but perhaps you could have words with DD or more importantly FC, reassure her we ain't gonna do anything bad to him. The point is to scare him, but still get him to the church on time.

The question is, does he have to be awake at the church, or just there. And does he have to be able to move under his own steam?

Yes he has to be awake, how else can he say his vows?
Under his own steam is debatable. If he is in a wgeelchair for example, then we might have to push him to the church

Sorry, I'm late - traffic's terrible ...
Now then, what's everyone drinking?
Could've sworn I just saw a scantilly clad female dressed as a cake, doing a runner ... what did you say to her ... she dropped this *ping pong ball*, this *snooker ball* and these *handfull of brussel sprouts* ...

Sorry I went AWOL last night had to play some bowls last night.
Best man? Hmmm. I do need one here don't I. Now who should I chose? I need someone reliable who can keep the party going. Hmmm. But I have two people in mind for my virtual best man. Who do I chose?

Perhaps Lost In Scotland could do the honor? He's a Swede, but he lives in Scotland. Besides, wouldn't it count as an experience having seen a Swede in a kilt? It surely would for other Swedes...
