2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Nov 28, 2006
Well... You know... It only seemed the diligent thing to do, what with my birthday being on the 9th November, and Christmas falling on the 25th December this year, waht with all the effort involved in getting celibrations going, it only really made sense to continue them on to the 1st January actually what is the date now? Is it new years eve yet?

Psh - Sheffield University Medsoc (or whatever it's called) tried the same thing, but unfortunately forgot to inform the World Record moderators. I think there are rules about there being as many drinkers on the return leg of the crawl as there are on the outward leg, in order to take into account favourable winds.

I never did hear how they made out, as far as the record went. We saw some film on the national news, and it sure looked like a good time. The police even reported it was a well-behaved crowd! Can't feature that in Halifax - a typically tough port-city!
Key: Complain about this post
