Thanks. I'm here wasting time replying to all these messages when I should be preparing for the get-together on Saturday. Still, never mind, eh?

Afternoon, EV, BB, anyone else who happens to be around.
I'll have a quick please if you're serving, BB.

*shudders*

*Pours Peregrin a bottomless too.*
I noticed it's raining when I came here - my shoes have holes in and my feet are soaked.

That is so, so sad. Move to sunny Leeds. It's not raining here.

Try walking with your feet pointing downwards - then the rain won't fall into the holes in your shoes.

Bluebottle Posted Aug 3, 2000
It's not the top of the shoes, it's the holes where I've worn away the heel of the shoes.
And Leeds always rains when I'm there - I've had weather reports of Leeds in the last few days, and apart from today, Southampton's weather's been better.

Peregrin Posted Aug 3, 2000
This is nice, a thread that isn't moving at a zillion miles an hour. Everybody else seems to be in 36 still.
I think we should try to get to 42, then sit there.

My nose is getting sore and red from blowing it so much (I have a cold) and I am in the midst of moving office, which is a pain as the dust is not helping the cold. Other than that, I'm fine, if a lot overly busy. How are you?
c|_| 37
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Aug 3, 2000
Oh dear. I'm fine, psyching myself up for the Edinburgh get-together on Saturday.
*pours of warm, milky substance for Ændr*

jdc Posted Aug 3, 2000
Warm milky substance. Hmm. Or is it, in fact, milk?
Ho ho, what's pink and skinny....
c|_| 37
Dr E Vibenstein (You know it is, it really is.) Posted Aug 3, 2000
I wasn't sure if Ændr was getting bored with the warm milk, so it could be cocoa, or Horlicks, or indeed milk.
Skin?
