But for the record, if I remember correctly

Yes, I know symlpost is technically mis-spelt. I dislike 'bad English for the sake of it' too, though then simulpost is hardly in the Oxford English Dictionary either
Or is it just a Northern spelling? (must point out - I'm from Sheffield, and will be there for the summer and possibly on from next Sunday, but I'm presently in Portsmouth)

I was just trying to clarify things for Hannah, but you're right, she won't find simulpost in the Austrian-English dictionary. What we're attempting, Hannah, is a combination of simultaneous and post. That is simul-post. Posting at the same time.
I think I'm stuck in Leeds for the summer. Where else is there to go when you are in the centre of the known universe?

A simulpost/symlpost is where two people post a message at the same time, usually as a reply to the same post. Which can get confusing.
