The trip is long and quite smooth, the tunnel turning left and right and maybe even upside-down. It also seems to take absolutely ages. Eventually the complete darkness changes to a faint grey glimmer and the slide levels out and twists round, slowing her down. Finally, she is going quite slowly when the end can be seen. She comes to a halt her feet overhanging the end of the tube slightly. Wriggling forwards, her feet meet a spongy mat and she stands up carefully, blinded by the relatively bright light.
