and I think I'll join you . Isn't 'Bag It Up' the one with the immortally miss-quoted line 'Men are from Venus and Women are from Mars' ? Surely Miss H, or the song writer, is not being consciously sarcastic/ironic/funny here are they?

It's possible, you know. She seems to want to be seen as ironic and witty these days (e.g. that performance at the Brits).
Going back to Beckham's crop: I now have to think of a new poll for my footie page. I have been running one on whether Becks is a genius, an idiot or both. But now that we know he's willing to pay over £300 for a Number One crop, I think that question has been decisively answered.
I dunno... Maybe I could do one on "How many Leeds United players do you think will be in jail at the start of next season".
