1) It's chocolate and contains no fruit or alcohol (please don't add any alcohol except to your own slices, when on a separate plate, I like my chocolate cake on its own.)
2) X**s cake usually has X**ssy decorations, not random teenage wizards.
3) I said it's birthday cake. My poor parents were both born in late December and so they never really get un-X**ssy birthdays.
4) Look, *I* said so. And if you don't believe me, Kitty will come and breathe down your neck till you claim you do convincingly.
>4) See 4.

No, I can't tell. The trouble with this place, is that drunk passes for normal. Nobody ever appears drunk compared with their usual state because their usual state is drunk. Now, I probably appear knurd if anything.
Help yourself to food, but leave some for the others.

*rubs humbug on vest, creating salt and vinegar humbug stain for future use.*

*Enter Bluebottle, complaining that in RL he has to w*rk on Wednesday, but before anyone accuses him of mentioning *mas, reminds everyone that he always complains about having to w*rk.*

My mother often has to work over the-time-of-year-when-people-with-small-families-really-should-have-time-off.
She works in an operating theatre, and it really has to be staffed for emergencies. They rota staff so that they have these days off in turn over a period of years, but she does occasionally swap shifts so that parents can have key time off (it varies from religion to religion too). I usually have to take charge of cooking (what's new?)

Anyone want a game of hopscotch?
*looks for flattish stone to throw and scrawls the numbers on the floor using a chalk stain on his vest*
11? It should only go up to 10. Drat I've missed number 7! Oh, never mind.
Who wants to throw first?
