*Tiptoes back towards drink*

I think he's falling asleep. The cake was quite useful as a tool for befriending your kitty. Maybe you could do the same for Menza and then we could have a guard kitty to scare away people from the drink store in the cellar.
He's (kitty not Menza) currently lying on top of 10 kegs of Drumroll.

he already likes Menza, because Menza drew a special chocolate smiley for me and kitty then decided he'd have it. i got the hatter smiley though so I'm happy.

[Abruptly, with no warning, a warbling tremolo becomes audible. Simultaneously, a green aura appears. A moment later, YK fades into existence in the green aura. He is wearing his usual red shirt, blue jeans, backpack, and Poké Balls at his belt. The green glow and the warbling tremolo fade out.]
Greetings, everyone! This is the busiest forum, I see...

[A clarification: the Poké Balls are the only items at his belt.]

What's everyone doing here? Am I annoying anyone? Am I annoying *everyone*? Thought so. Phooey.

he appears to already be fulfilling that role
of course, if anyone gets hold of my cake (available from various fora or just by asking)
then he will become as docile as a kitten for the period of time it takes him to eat the cake
and he has a very big mouth

What most people do here is drinking. That's what a pub is for. The social side of things is just a side-effect. I should know, I'm a student.

Do you have salted peanuts, I occasionally eat an awful lot of them. Three or four small bowls wouold be nice.

Might just suffice.
This is a true story, it happened to one of my brother's friends
"Mark" is 16 but hangs about with a group of older people so occasionally goes down the pub with them though he doesn't drink. One weekend he got invited to a house party where there was a total lack of parental supervision, the result being that everyone drank copious amounts of alcohol. Mark, not wanting to be left out joined in in his own way. That evening, he was the only person from the party admitted to hospital with blood poisoning.
It was not the alcohol that sent him in though. He had not had much to drink and it was a soft drink anyway. Instead, he had consumed something like 15 packets of crisps and had got _salt_ poisoning as a result.
This was part of my brother's reasoning for being allowed to go out to parties. If not drinking could get you hospitalised, then there must be less risk in actually joining everyone in a pint or two.
But if I am to learn anything from the story the only safe way to eat that sack of peanuts is to have another couple of |_|

Either that or have 5 people at the table and just open the packet of peanuts and put it in the middle. We do that with crisps, someone gets the pints in, and someone else buys half a dozen packets of crisps and you just dump them in the middle and everybody eats what they want.

But you might not get enough of what you want. The only advantage there being that your friends eat so many of the crisps that you can't get salt poisoning.
