I've written a guide entry consisting of my poem about my personal construction of friendship which can be viewed at www.h2g2.com/u102376. I would like it to be approved but I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for. A fellow researcher seemed to think that it was suitable but I'm not so sure. I wondered if you could take a look at it and tell me what you think before I waste evrybodies time by submitting it. Thanks, Deano.

"No fiction
The h2g2 Guide is a guide to life on Earth, not a work of fiction. Feel free to write fiction, but please don't ask us to approve it. We probably won't, especially if it mentions small, brown, furry creatures from Alpha Centauri."
This isn't exactly clear in the case of your friendship piece so I bent the ear of a h2g2 staff member & this was their comment:-
"If it's fictional then no, but we're happy to have user pages with poems, a great use of space.
But I suppose in theory someone could write a factual piece in prose, in that case we'd accept it..."
So I guess it's up to you whether you think it meets the guidelines (btw after a quick search I couldn't find an Approved Guide entry on Friendship). One other option might be to subit it to the Fun Run for comment from the community (see http://www.h2g2.com/A130852 ).
hope it helps
