I can now see how it happened and there is no need to apologise, I think you were acting in the best interests of h2G2, your solution is a good one and I hope Gnomon will feel able to finish his edit.
That will keep every one happy and suits me very well. If there are no disenting voices this is the best plan, I know the entry will be in good hands with you and Gnomon should I hope be very happy, and so will be Wilma I hope.
I was happy when it was picked but surprised as Gnomon had not finished, this suggestion should more than please everyone, and Gnomon will hope feel he has not waisted his time on the entry.
And I do not feel you should take any blame and I thank you and everyone for the help they gave to this entry.

Well, a good Scout would say that I should have waited a few days longer than I did, Bob. If I hadn't hit the 'Recommend' button, Gnomon would still have been working with you on this. So there is a large portion of blame for the situation that should, rightly, be applied to me
A good Sub-editor would also read the whole PR thread and check that the author, and anyone who feels there are outstanding issues, is happy before the Entry is returned to the Editors. As I'm already aware of Wilma and Gnomon's concerns, it would be much more straightforward for me to ask for it anyway.
Let's see what the Eds say tomorrow, and don't let any of this dampen your enthusiasm or take the shine off a great Entry

Once again, I rest my case - there is noone better qualified than Rich to work on this with you, Bob. I am very sorry my posts upset you but am very happy that the conclusion is such a good one. No spleen to vent here, Rich

The editorial tools don't enable us to put things back in Peer Review, but, as you all seem happy with this solution then we'll allocate it to Skanky, and you can continue to work on this.
Thanks all very much for your help - and please don't ever worry about asking us questions like this - we're really glad that you care about the Guide so much and want to make Entries as good as they can be.

Hopefully, the content should be sorted now. I'm away for the weekend, and will address any further comments when I get back. Please have a read if you felt there were issues outstanding when this was accepted. I'll also add links when I return as well, as I haven't had chance as yet.
