A description of types of burial mounnds Neolithic To Viking Periods.
To describe and list the various styles of burial mounds in the British Isles. Construction methods and who built them and when, their location and distribution. The forms of mounds such as cairns, chamber tombes and barrows and the types Bowl, Bell, Disc, Saucer, Pond and Viking ship burials. The generic terms such as Tumulus and kurgans.
