Uhm... I've lived in Alberta for 19 years, and this is the first time I've ever heard 'chaps my ass'... or any other form of the word 'chappped' or 'chaps' in this usage...
Perhaps the person who suggested this be added is from Grande Praire or somewhere equally in the boonies.
