SMS stands for "Send Me Some". The SMS is a 160-character long array (it is also called "message" for unknown reason) which can be sent to any GSM mobile phone. Sending SMS is possible from another mobile phone or from special Web pages or via e-mail or from the same mobile phone (strange, but it works, I tried). Also, modern GSM phones can not just send and receive but you can store the important and erase the confusing messages.

The greatest feature of the concept is the capability of receiving SMS. When an SMS arrives, first, the mobile phone makes very loud alert sound. Then, the residents sitting around in the cinema looks to you and you can read the SMS and enjoy your importance. SMS arrives only if someone sends one for you.

You can also send SMS for others. Before sending, the SMS must be composed and typed. Typing SMS on a mobile phone is a bit problematical. This is because most of mobile phones have numeric keypad with restricted number of keys according to the decimal system (0..9), but the array (we named it "message") should contain other characters, like some member of alphabet, exclamation mark, question mark and dollar sign (it makes possible of sending demands via SMS quite easy).

After composing, you should send the SMS out. You can send it to one phone or to more phones. Get prepared, after sending out an SMS, you will often get phone call from the recipient. He will be sorry, but he has to ask who you are, he didn't found your phone number in his address book.

Advanced SMS freaks can save time by sending the same message to different people, which means different things to them. Examples:
"I rethouhgt the thing last time we were talking about. The answer is: no."
"Help!!! I need $2500 now, please send me as soon as possible!!!"
"My sweetheart, I love you so much. Let's meet at the usual place at the usual time!"

Select the recipient carefully when you send important messages. One of my collegues has sent the following message to his almost-girlfriend instead of his best friend:
"Hey, I've screwed that chick last night, it was wonderful! Three times! Plus morning once again!!!"
Since this little accident, the girl don't speak with him, and which really pains, she did not replied the SMS.

Finally, a record: I know a girl, who sends more than 600 messages a month (just for comparison, a normal SMS-user, say, like me, sends only 150-200).
