Sounds good if you like that sort of thing... but there are really good alternatives if you're a bit decrepit (or is that decrepid? senile dementia setting in at 36) (I just typed 35 and then realised another year had passed... it gets worse). Anyhow, you can have a load of W at 10:00AM Saturday (which is quite cheap really), go out and play pool in an empty pub at 11:00AM without the 20 somethings hassling you because you're crap and slow, and (if you pick the pub carefully) put any tracks you like on the jukebox really loud (because the bar staff know you're only ones in at this time and are paying the whole of their wages, and want something to relieve the boredom), get a few (about 4) pints or cheap treble vodkas down your throat, talk REALLY REALLY INTENSELY about INPORTANT THINGS, go home at 5:00PM, play boggle/scrabble/upwords, look up weird stuff on the net, smoke some smoke, drink some more, listen to some suitable music, maybe have some intense rude stuff, go to bed and drift around for a few hours, and still go down the pub on Sunday to watch live football...
However, the above could be harmful to your health so I would not in any way endorse such behaviour.

...and the important thing is that you do what I mentioned in ANY little s***hole of a town - not just London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Belfast(?), Dublin etc.

And before anyone mentions it, I know I put 'inportant' not 'important' in the first bit - why doesn't this box have a spell check to catch such embrassing tpoys?

That's the whole deal about going out, wherever you go. You're out there to have a good time and you ought to do whatever you have to do to acheive that (as long as its not having adverse effects on anyone else).
There's actually a current trend I've noticed at the moment of older women going clubbing, showing its not exclusively for young airheads trying to fry their brain.
I give a lot of kudos to anyone who dances, cause in a world full of repression, its nice to see people trying to express themselves in such a happy way.
But going out, yeah, its all about what's your bag baby. Get out there and try somethings, you may be surprised by what you start to like.

Where else can you discover another world while messing with our fragile emotional states?
