A Conversation for Great Advertising Campaigns (Sotto Construzione)

There are lots of stories about ad agencies. One of my favourites was that a potential client turned up at an agency , which was fighting for its mega- millions account, for 'the pitch'. These are slick fast talking presentations.
But there was no-one at the reception desk. They went to take a seat but there were none, other than a couple of dirty broken ones in the corner. There were dirty cups on the desk, rubbish on the floor.
Eventually a receptionist wandered in. They had to approach her to get her attention, she ignored them, but eventually looked up.
The clients said that they were there for the pitch. But were told to wait five minutes. After ten they asked again, the girl sighed and told them that the meeting would start in about ten minutes, or so she thought.
Eventually the clients had had enough, but just as they gathered their things to walk out, the doors swung open and they were led into the meeting.
The agency surprisingly WON the pitch and got the business.
