that folds into a paper boat.
As I watch it sail down the stream,
I dream for you a little dream.
A little dream of you and me,
wishing for love that used to be.
But words are heavy and papers weak,
and my little boat is bound to sink.
I know my wish won't make it through
it's far too lost to get to you.
I'll cry for all of our lost years,
the rain will cover up my tears.
Perhaps one day you'll think of me,
And think of how we used to be,
you'll see a boat float down a stream
and dream for me a little dream.
