A Conversation for The Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)

I'll agree that the NES was a marvelous bit of advertising and marketing. Another thing that sets the NES apart are the amounts of games that are avalible for it. Because of it's dominance on the shelves for about a decade, tons upon tons of games were produced for it. I myself own over 70 games. The NES provides an example to newer systems. Flashy graphics mean nothing without good games. (3DO? PCX?)

I also enjoy the NES, although my favorite system is SNES.

Please do not say that 3DO did not have good games, though. It died due to other factors, and indeed had several great titles. I've just written the 3DO Interactive Multiplayer entry at A326198.
