A disarray of books, papers and paraphernalia; order in chaos. The clock ticks to another deadline, but the warm couch seductively armed with her cushions and mosaic texture is yet another attractive option. Oh, the decisions in life!
Enough! Time to smell fresh air. There are fake flowers, but flowers nevertheless. The west wind blows against my skin, accents of countries untraveled over lunch. Another familiar face, another acknowledgement. Happy curves on elastic faces, my chalked square on earth. Goodness, it’s time for another meeting. Oh, the decisions in life!
I see no more of the parallel strips, the moon is our new actor. As bags are packed and goodbyes are said, I recline into yet another comfortable position. My stomach starts to growl. I realize it’s time for supper. The exit doors are hard to push, but my slumber awaits me. No work done, tired bones need rest for another day. Oh, the humor in life!
