Yay! Mr Sandwich is back and he bringeth 'wiches!
I'm a mumblin' and a mutterin' about schweinstooker things.
What'choo doing?

Mr Sandwich Posted Oct 30, 2006
Schweinstooker? Can I help? With the mumbling and muttering... or just fetching and 'wiches?
Not very much. Loitering. Sulking. Moaning and groaning.

Ooh, no, you sit down and I'll take over the muttering for a bit.
I caught a glimpse of it.
Actually, you could go to the shops and fetch some cake. You could get a hoodie and loiter around the bus stop.

Trin Tragula Posted Oct 30, 2006
I think he has. Which of the two paths will he choose? The way of the cake? Or the alley of hoodie loitering?
Or will he end up on a 'wich-shop crawl of some kind, hauling his 'wich-bloated body from bakery to bakery

I'm afraid he was, yes He'll be back though, I'm sure.
This is probably of no interest to anyone anywhere ever, but I remember saying a while back that it was possible to be 'here' in more than one account in the same time. And it is. But not if one of the accounts was opened after SSO, because they end up getting confused. Does that sound right? Would Mozilla be able to help with this? Or is he tanked up on Thunderbird again?

I remember you saying that. >>not if one of the accounts was opened after SSO<< I was just about to dash off and test it, but I've only got this account that was opened before SSO came in. Hang on, I'm gonna try summat.

Adroabel sighting!
*Pushes over a 'wich*
See, I can do it with *ahem* which is pre-SSO. And also the UG accounts (which are older than me anyway). But Mr Sandwich goes all melty

I'm trying to remember when Single Sign On came in now. It's what allows you to use all the different BBC sites under one username. Prior to that, I think you had to have different accounts in different places.

Baconlefeets Posted Oct 30, 2006
SSO is the big Single Sign On kerfuffle that happened and made hootoo wear a big beard, sit in a country pub and say "arrr, who be you then?"
Nope, can't do it with a post-SSO account. Not even in the lovely Firefox.
Why fore art thou enquiring?

Trin Tragula Posted Oct 30, 2006
Well, the last time I was online at the same time as the entirely strange and unknown other researcher Mr Sandwich, our accounts ended up blending and it all went a bit haywire.
It might happen again, of course.
