I came to this entry from your husband's article about the current abuse story that is filling the media.

I just want to say how brave you were to write this, and so long ago too. I suspect the current news must have have made you feel sick. I have been fortunate never to have suffered anything like this, but I knew someone who did. Strangely it was some years before I cottoned on to the reason she hated her father so much, and her mother too, for turning a blind eye.

The abuse in itself is bad enough, but the not being believed is probably more painful.

I hope you are making good progress still. You certainly have a wonderful man of compassion and understanding and it reminds us that we must not judge all men by what we read or know.
