I intend to read Jane Eyre. Can anyone please tell me if it's as good as Wuthering Heights? And if anyone has read it, let's discuss the Grapes Of Wrath.

have to say I didn't like Jane Eyre nearly as much as Wuthering Heights (even before I studied Jane...) - but neither are as good as Tenant of Wildfell Hall IMO

I'd just like to say that I LOVE Jane Eyre! (I liked Wuthering Heights too) It used to be one of my favorite books (now I'm more into Frank McCourt, Neil Gaiman, DNA of course, and Laurie King) and now we are reading it in my IB English class. It will be an interesting way for me to determine if it is studying books that make me hate them (ie, Madame Bovary) or if it is being told how to interpret them that ruins it for me.
By the way, has anyone else read The Historian? That was an awesome book. Does anyone else have any good book recommendations?

Sorry about the double post. The BBC did the annoying thing where they popped up with "We're sorry, we're too busy to process blah blah blah, please try again later." It bugs me because I always get annoyed at people who mistakenly post their stuff more than once, and yet now I'm guilty too. Bleh.
Key: Complain about this post
