Hi to all in the h2g2 Photographers club.
I am here after being pointed in this direction by Bob Stafford, who enthusiastically reccomended i take a look
; so i have looked and i would like to join in
. I think i can make some contributions for consideration in guide entries and think the whole process sounds great fun.
I have a little camera, which takes a nice picture on occasion, and i enjoy reading edited entries and admiring other peoples handy work ( so thats where all those nice pictures come from!
). Thanks to opticalallusion for suggesting i start my own thread 
, and to Bob Stafford for steering me in the right direction Invicta!

Hi loftskywalker, sorry for the delay in replying to you, the Photographers are currently taking a short break, but I think both myself and Galaxy Babe both thought the other one was going to let our members know, and as a result, neither of us did.
everyone, we hope to be back in full swing by the middle of this coming week.

Good idea Bob, hope the inhabitants of the target town are prepared for it all. 
Yes i like that particular idea, a theme like that rather than , a group of you doing a specific , like say a famous monument or place that has had plenty of attention and hasnt changed much over the years.

From Devon to Kent Or London to Birmingham By area or monument or place.
You what to help to get this going, lets just call it a meet with something to do thrown in for fun that could benifit the h2g2 community. And there will be beer

Sorry for the delay. Rather than invite you to join while we were in the middle of a round, which for various reasons was a bit delayed, thought it better to wait until that round had finished, but could have informed you of this.

Okay, thanks for letting us know Sim. I noticed your mention of digital images on your PS and wondered if they'd be any sort of conflict with Photographers. Lucky that you noticed a possible problem now, rather than later.
