GB for inviting me I've enjoyed taking pics and using your easy to understand advice on uploading them. Though I noticed they are bigger than the others and wondered how I may shrink them to size and still looking pleasing to the eye.

Keep an eye on the files, I'll resize your pics and add them to the file. Those will be the ones which will be submitted to the Voting Album.

OK I stayed up a little later than intended, (he's asleep), if you like to check I've submitted your two "well" pictures. I deleted one of your apples, from the Files, it was too blurry. I will resize the other tomorrow. This leaves you two to submit from your folder, which I've just looked at. So, a snow one, and one other? Have a look at the other pics already submitted. You can see them at a glance in the Voting Album, but that's not complete yet as I've still some to resize and some awaiting permission to submit.

Try to choose different pics, because a wider appeal garners more votes. I wanted to find a well to submit but I have not had time since submissions opened but I'll be happy to apply one of yours to my Entry. Is that well on your family property? It's very pretty

for the compliments regards the well Yes it is just outside our kitchen window. I guess pictures can give clues to people too, for example from one of the picture you can also tell that we have a due to the red bowl.

No, I put two others in from your folder. You're allowed a max of three per Entry. The deadline was lunchtime so I couldn't wait for your answer. As you know we're voting now, so we'll see how that goes

As we crop the pictures square, when taking your pictures try and centre your image, remember it will end up as a square.

I'm not sure my computer runs adobe. I was working today so can't log in there. I'm happy for you to pick out entries I've done at any time.

I was just asking you to ensure your subject that you're photographing is centered, which makes making a crop of 200x200 easier.
The size of the photos you've been submitting is fine.

You are welcome to submit any entries to the Database for future selection for photographing by the Group. They don't have to be yours, they can be any - so long as they're edited and don't already have a photo applied.

I didn't realise you could pick entries to put pics on will bare that in mind.

Hi all, was talking with Bob stafford last night; and he told me ( and filled me with enthusiasm ) about this group, i have a small camera and take a few pics plus i regularly read guide entries; i would like to join in , i think/hope i can contribute some pictures somewhere along the line.

Hi there...earlier in this thread I was asked to compose my own thread to join...perhaps it may be worth doing the same.
