On the Yahoo site. But the next round of voting has not started yet. We are still submitting pics. You ok with editing yours?

I'm not really sure at the moment. I'm still a bit unsure of the layout of the site; ( following threads etc) but I hopefully left a message in the right place asking for feedback on a photo I up-loaded at random.

I had no trouble in achieving 200 x 200 but in my Photoshop it showed file size as 47.1k although it showed up on yahoo as 8k.

I'll persevere though its great so far.

By the way, when you upload to the photos section of Yahoo, it automatically resizes the image. This is why you have it as one size yet when it gets on site, it is smaller.

Scorp that's a super-smashing pic you've uploaded

Emmily has already nominated "Cats" (at the database) for a future subject so make sure you don't delete that pic from your PC as you will need to upload it to the "Files" section Cats folder (which will be made when it's selected for that weeks' nominations)

We can't transfer from "Photos" to "Files" because of how Yahoo mangle the pics quality

We'll email the group when the voting starts

Thank you kind lady. The cat in question seems to have adopted me - his name is Harry and he actually belongs about three gardens away. I have taken quite a few really appealing pictures of him and will put just one more up there for you to see.

Sorry guys; but I'm struggling again. I have printed off the list of new submissions; but when I search by A number, I cannot find the relevant entry - eg A59591 - the only entry I came across was A3815525 Numbers.

Where have I lost the plot please?

Hi GB - have read most of the submissions now. Have you noticed the deliberate mistake in post 2? When I found it, the listing is actually for A653924 Rememberance Day - Poppy Day and not Rememberance Sunday.

That was a deliberate mistake on my part because that's what my family call it, Remembrance Sunday, because that's when we attend the parade and my Dad lays his wreath on behalf of the Lancashire Fusilliers. Poppy Day is 11/11 - what we buy poppies for.
