I am really attached to my first mac ever, the IIci. A great machine, ran at the equivelent to A pentium 166. The IIci was made in 1992, and still works. I would never sell it for all the money in the world. I have since then recieved a LC 550, a IIgs, LC, LC II, LC III, LC 495, and most recently an iMac. So for all you PC users out there, take a time to use a mac. they're great.

And I am SO sorry that I ever got rid of my first Mac -- a MacPlus with an external 20 MB HD!
I'm now awaiting one of the new iMacs with the flat screen and the upside-down salad-bowl base, but I'd so like to be able to introduce it to that very first MacPlus. Unfortunately, I sold it to someone and when, quite a few years later, I went to ask if I could buy it back, she said that she had put it out with the rubbish a few days before.
Can you imagine that -- putting it out with the rubbish! A Mac Plus!!!!! An why? Because the external HD didn't work any more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sad, so sad!!
