I already have a galaxy or two.
Meanwhile, did you notice this campaign: F2118817?thread=645062 (A4084977)?

You'll have to excuse me, I'm a little out of practise at navigating my way round these days - the place is expanding at such a rate....
Not seen you around for a while - life keeping you busy?

I've had a TABLE galaxy "smiley" on h2g2 for a couple of years now. However, a few months ago I did some emoticons for another site and one of the more recent sets of those included another galaxy image (and a comet but no meteor shower). They use smaller smileys than the dna sub-sites do though (with customisable and predefined skins causing more compatibility issues than just white vs goo).

I think SEF will correct me if I'm giving you "duff gen".
You can make up pictures using tables by making each part of the table a different colour. The sections become so small they end up being pixel sized and you make a picture by arranging the coloured pixels.
If you have a look at my space theres one on there somewhere....

I found it - it's in the blue header above the "Ministry of Black" banner.
I know it only looks small, but the code is enormous....

I know how enormous the code is, because I posted the smiley (that's not a smiley) on this entry.
There's another thread listing the code, in case anyone wants to put it on their PS
When I posted the it was because the post was hidden, and I wondered what it was all about...

I've now put SEF's galaxy smiley on the A4521214 along with the other one, which one do you like the best?

NB Mine was designed to work on both white and goo with as little TABLE data as possible. Doing it as an image file like other smileys would remove that sort of constraint on colour and background. So I wouldn't actually do it quite that way as an image. Even my 13-pixel high version for the other site, which has to cope with more choices of background colour, has more colour changes within it. I haven't checked how large that one would be as a TABLE instead though.

did youn know that the table can also be done twice as big? I have it on my personal space by going into the table doubling the height and width and making the base unit 2 pixels instead of one.
