I've been house hunting in Sheffield. Most of the houses are just off Abbeydale road which GD may recognise smiley - smiley I think I am going to rent at first for 6 months ant then we may buy later smiley - smiley

Of course I know Abbeydale road. So how much is a house in Sheff these days? And should I swap my Brighton abode for three in the North smiley - bigeyes

Well, we are looking to rent a 2 or 3 bed terrace for £400, and to buy one of the same size varies between £45,000 and £70,000 though I haven't viewed any of those so don't know how good they aresmiley - erm

Of course we could get something bigger and cheaper further out I reckon but my girlfriend can't drive and wants to be on good bus routes and near to the city centre so Ecclesall road would probably be good smiley - ok

I'm guessing its not soo wet in Brighton but I may be wrong smiley - smiley

No it's bright and sunny in Brighton. Only problem is that I'm stuck in a basement office for the day.

Still I suppose Light is waiting for me back home which is nice smiley - biggrin

Its sunny here (Rochdale) too for the moment smiley - biggrin I do reckon Sheffield is one of the wettest places I've been too. So ironic that on every university open day I went to, it was boiling hot.
