I can't get caps to save in a URL on my page

hello,

The recent changes at Geocities have left us with Yahoo! Geocities. One of the things they have just implemented in the conversion was CAPS sensitivity. Pics posted from your home page are fine assuming you did them in all lowercase, but linking from another page, here for example leaves you with an error because the communities are all Capitalized.

When I was setting up my home page it took spelling changes and punctuation changes, but when I added http://www.geocities.com/Paris/Left>b>Bank/9579/aet.gif - it scrapped the caps and left it all in lower case. I tried this like 3 times with no success, I'll try here as well.

Try the following: If you're using a lot of HTML in your page, start your page with <![CDATA[ and end it with ]]> - this will stop our XML interpreter trying to be clever with your HTML. This should solve your problem.

We're changing things to do this automatically, but we haven't made those changes live yet.

Key: Complain about this post
