Why doesn't my entry show up?

I just registered today and wrote my first guide entry. After I posted and submitted it I tried to search for it but I couldn't find it! I also tried the "friend" search and it worked with my e-mail address but not with my name. Help!!

The search engine takes a while to update - I found your entry using the search just fine
