I've had one of my guide entries mysteriously disappear off my page - and I can't find it in the search thingy either. What have you done with it?

If it was a submitted entry it may be going through the final stages of approval - they disappear inbetween being approved & appearing on the front page

I've got one a bit like that at the moment (hope that's a good sign!)
Can I change the subject to a rather more pressing (though not h2g2 related) one on my part?
I've finally discovered the virus I thought my computer had been carrying for the last few months. It's infected three files, two of which I've deleted, but one I want to keep (I think). It says it can't clean it, so now what do I do? I can't access Outlook Express at the moment.

Maybe delete the file & reinstall Outlook Epress

I'm not sure about OE - but the full version of Outlook lets you uninstall & reinstall without it affecting your datafiles.

Well I've deleted it now, after finally working out it was just a message in my mailbox! Wish I knew who it was from though.
Just got to figure how to get the link/exe file to work again now.
