A Conversation for Don't Panic

Forget the political arguments for the moment, but it seems to me that there is an underground sinister movement in the EU dedicated to spoiling enjoyment of the finer things in life by the “common people”. smiley - sadface
You may have heard that our British bangers don’t meet EEC specifications so shouldn’t be called “sausages” (what do they know - we invented the damn things!); previous H2G2 correspondence reveals that we can no longer buy Bombay Duck in UK (probably because the Duck content is too low); the French won’t eat our beef (because we don’t feed it on proper human sewerage); and following my recent ask H2G2 I am told by DelphicOracle (thanks for the info) that Kaffir Lime leaves cannot now be obtained in UK due to European directive.
Maybe it’s time for revolution!
Anyone interested in joining a movement against all this? – I think I’ll call it “AP-APPLE” (Annoyed People Against Party-Pooping Legislators in Europe) – unless there are any better suggestions.

I do concur! However, our last (?) major revolution (Civil War) has ended up a, few centuries later, with everything back at stage 1: Gt.Brit in the hands of one man & (maybe!) making a similar mess! I don't think another would in the end work. What I suggest is the Book of the Dead, i.e. raise Oliver Cromwell!! He'd sort this mess out with very few strings attached! Failing that, Arthur! Bring back GREAT Britain & stop bowing down to various peoples that we have been 'at war' with for centuries. Why we were at war with them in the first place?? Don't people learn from history? (By the way I have nothing against the people as individuals, it is the power-hungry at the top.
