h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Until recently, I was able to browse H2G2 at work from my palmtop as well as at home from my PC. However, recently something has changed on the home page, perhaps in relation to the detection of Java compliance? From my non-Java WinCE palmtop I can still see every H2G2 page apart from the homepage, which just dumps a load of Java and HTML code onto the screen. Please can somebody fix this? Ta.

Do you mean the sites front page or your homepage?

The site's front page is the only one that is causing problems. All the other pages seem to be OK (once I've randomly guessed their URL!)

LOL - Jim Lynn's been talking about a similar problem over here - http://www.h2g2.com/forumframe.cgi?thread=22044&forum=432 - that he's currently working on.

I left him a message saying I thought you were having the same problem & pointing him over this way. So if you click on the link above & click on the link you find there you'll be able to go for ages without having to guess a url .

Or you could go over there, leave a message & confirm that you seem to be having the same problem.
