i'm reading through articles here and over half are non-helpful, and the half with real questions which i myself had, had no answers!!!
i'll go down the list and would GREATLY appreciate someone who knows something (related to the topic at hand) giving feedback.
1) how do you change your user name.. not the title heading on your page, but over on the right hand side it says user id and user nickname- i can't get the name to change no matter what button i hit. this is why when my articles get posted it still has a researcher number instead of a name.
2) how do you delete a journal entry. one of mine got posted twice by mistake and it won't go away, and some are now getting old and also won't go away making a very long page indeed.
3) how do you put pictures, or other web related doo-dahs on your page? are you supposed to type in html code in these boxes? that might explain a lot... i haven't actually tried it seeing as how once you post something you can't erase it, well, i suppose there is the preview message bit, is that the trick? these boxes are html code entry boxes??
at any rate, these questions are serious and not just belonging to me, i've only lumped them all together. please don't fill up this conversation with non-helpful postings. it wouldn't be very nice.

1) how do you change your user name..
Click on the button on the left hand side, in the goo, called 'Edit details' and you'll be able to change your user name details.
2) how do you delete a journal entry.
Sorry, but you can't delete journal entries yet. We're working on lots of changes in this area but they're not ready yet.
3) how do you put pictures, or other web related doo-dahs on your page?
Yes, you can type Html tags into your pages (but not journals or forum posts). You have to bear something in mind, though. Our pages are actually XML, and we pass HTML tags through, but to work, the XML must be 'well formed'. What this means in practice is that you must make sure you close *all* tags, including those HTML tags that normally don't need closing. You can do this by using a / at the end of a tag to indicate it's "empty". Thus, to put a picture in, use
Also, to put line breaks in use
I hope this helps.

Type your email address into the field again. You'll be sent another email message which you can use to reactivate your account on your browser. If you keep a note of the URL (the one with the key=xxx at the end) you can always use that to refresh your browser's memory.
