In episode 1 & 2 they show a Jedi female Master on the Jedi Counsel. In episode 2 female Jedi Knights appear fighting the battle droids at the arena.
The Dark Woman and Mara Jade Skywalker are famous Jedi women who are also Jedi Masters.

I agree of all what you say. I greatly aadmire Yoda as well as Luke Skywalker (wonderful news that he has a sweet little baby angel called Ben). Forgive me for being broody)
